Plague MAIN POSTER 2026.png

The year is 1348 and the small Yorkshire village of Bogsfield is about to be hit by the Black Death. How to approach the looming threat causes a rift between the village inhabitants, and as the villagers squabble over what they think is the best approach, the plague threatens everything!

Full of twists and turns, heart and humour (with a wealth of colourful characters and historical inaccuracies), Plague is a medieval, fun-filled musical tale of hope, community... and root vegetables.

Join us for this incredible and unique outdoor performance, set in the atmospheric grounds of St Mary's Church Yard! Bring your camping chairs or book a picnic blanket plot to immerse yourselves in the village of Bogsfield as this brilliant musical unfolds around you!

Please note: This is an outdoor performance in a beautiful setting but we cannot control the weather. Please check the forecast on the day of the event and come prepared for the conditions. If it does rain we just need to call upon the Great British spirit, dress accordingly, and live for the moment!

Our team will closely monitor weather forecasts in the lead up to our shows and should there ever be any concern regarding the weather, we will inform all ticket holders, otherwise it can be assumed that shows will be going ahead as planned.

Plague is a One Act production with no interval.
